Mckenzie was only in the hospital for around 18 hrs. We had talked to the doctor and expressed that as long as he was healthy and everything was looking good, we would like him to go home as soon as possible. The main reason was so that family could have some special family time before everyone had to head back to there jobs and school. So on Thursday, February 20th Mckenzie was released around 3:00 pm or so. It was a crazy day and mother nature decided to start the day off with a shower of peas sized hail that covered the yards and streets completely, then it turned to a heavy wet snow, that lasted until around 1:30 pm. It was a mess to drive in and many vehicles had trouble getting started and stopped without sliding. If that wasn't enough the wind was blowing very hard and it was causing electrical problems with the city of Sabetha and some of the local businesses were without power for awhile.
