My Family

Hello! Welcome to my blog.  My name is Rebecca Romines and this is my story of being a daughter, sister, wife, mother and new grandma.  I have to admit I have to be one of the luckiest women in the world!  I know that a lot of people make this statement, but I truly have been blessed. I met my husband John when I was only 15 yrs old and he was 21 yrs old at a local bowling alley, when he had came in to eat after work.  I know what most people would have thought and I by no means ever imagined that I would someday marry this man.  He was nice and all but was older and I have to admit he wasn't dressed to kill!  LOL  He was dressed in farm clothes and smelled like he just fell in a hog pen, which in fact I found out that he was working for my cousins husband on his hog farm.   At the time it was just a friendly conversation between a customer and waitress!  After a few months, things had changed and I became pregnant with our oldest son.  I have to admit it wasn't the ideal way to start my life, but I have been so lucky that that young man was my diamond on the ruff!  He stepped up and took care of both the baby and me and now 20 yrs later, we have the most beautiful family!  We have had our share of ups and downs along the way like all couples but we have raised our children with the beliefs and morals to do live life like we do and never take anything for granite.
